    1. $12 Billion seems low. Apparently the radar struck in Qatar cost $1.1 billion alone.

I am not sure what a Raytheon AN/FPS-132 (UEWR) is or does, but it seems really expensive and important to cost over a billion dollars by itself.

    2. “number I was briefed on”

I couldn’t help but notice the complete lack of long drawn out discussions and finger pointing before that was spent.

    4. And we all know the costs will be like 1/10th of what they actually are

every time i hear numbers like this my brain just shuts down… meanwhile i’m over here stressing about a $40 grocery bill.

    6. In hazard pay and equipment that will all need repaired or in the case of munitions, replaced.

    7. Still no money for universal childcare or healthcare though, right? Cause that would be too communist or something?

    8. 80 billion is how much it would take to make the social security trust solvent for generations to come. Reminder that republicans have no problem with government spending. They just have a problem with the government spending anything on you. Or in restricting them.
